Itinerary Details
Day 01: Arrive Guwahati (From Delhi/Calcutta) -  Drive to Nameri (220 Kms/ 4 Hrs)
Take the morning flight to Guwahati and we drive to Nameri. Nameri National Park is located on the banks of the river Jia Bhorelli on the northern side of the Brahmaputra. Situated on the foothills of the great Himalayas, is also a tiger reserve.
Day 02: Nameri – Dirang (270 Kms / 7 Hrs)
Early morning drive to Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh. Visit the village and the Dzong. At a short distance of 12 Kms. beyond Dirang, you can visit the famed Sangti Valley, popular for picturesque spots.
Day 03: Dirang - Tawang (180 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Enjoy the drive to Tawang, a scenic drive through the serpentine roads along the river Kameng. Beautiful landscapes throughout the drive will keep you busy. Cross the Sella Pass at 13,700 ft. This was a battle ground during the Indo-Chinese war in 1962. Visit the Jaswant Singh war memorial and the Nuranang Falls.
Day 04: Tawang
Visit Tawang monastery, built in the 16th century and home to hundreds of monks.  Visit the craft centre that sells beautiful masks, hand-woven carpets and Tangkhas. The museum presents the rich cultural diversity of Tawang.
Day 05: Tawang - Bomdila (230 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Today drive to Bomdila, a place of misty mountains, lush forest, apple orchards and Buddhist monasteries
Day 06: Bomdila - Itanagar (6 Hrs)
Today drive to Itanagar, the capital city of Arunachal. Jawaharlal Nehru Museum has a rich collection of textiles, weaponry, household articles and handicrafts items reflecting the tribal culture and heritage of Arunachal Pradesh.
Day 07: Itanagar - Ziro (167 Kms / 4 Hrs)
Drive to Ziro, one of most beautiful valleys in the region with imposing landscape of lush green forest, rivulets and elevated patches. Visit village and see village women with their pierced upper nostrils
Day 08: Ziro - Talle Valley (30 Kms) - Ziro
Talley Valley is a rich habitat of many unique and endangered plants and wildlife. Talley Valley Reserved Forest and Talley Wildlife sanctuary is situated at an elevated level with many rivers. It is home to highly endangered species like clouded leopard. Enjoy day hiking here.
Day 09: Ziro – Daporijo (160 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Drive to Daporijo, the small town is endowed with scenic beauty. One can see suspension bridges over Subansiri river made from bamboo and cane- a testimony of rich tribal craftsmanship. Subansiri river is ideal for river rafting, angling and picnic
Day 10: Daporijo - Along (160 kms / 5 Hrs)
This morning drive to Along. Afternoon visit Adi (Galong) Tribal villages.
Day 11: Along – Pasighat (100 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Drive to Passighat visiting enroute villages and crossing over rivers. Due to its 'strategic' situation where the Siang leaves the mountains, Pasighat has been often called the gateway to the state of Arunachal Pradesh
Day 12: Pasighat
Today we cross the Siang River to visit nearby villages of Adi Padam of Ayeng, Mebo and Siluk, then Aohali, Idu and Mishmi. Return to Pasighat at the end of the afternoon. Pasighat is excellent base to go in for long rafting expeditions.
Day 13: Pasighat - Dibrugarh [4 Hrs ferry]
This morning is very exciting with cruise on Brhamputra. We cruise downstream to Dibrugarh. This afternoon we visit the tea plantations in Dibrugarh. Evening at leisure.
Day 14: Dibrugarh – Jorhat (135 Kms / 3 Hrs) - Majuli
We drive to Jorahat via Sibsagar. From Jorahat, A 2 hours downstream boat cruise will take you to Majuli nestled between Subansiri and Brahmaputra River. Majuli is the biggest river island in the world. We can get a chance to stay here in traditional Mishing Chang (bamboo house).
Day 15: Majuli – Jorhat (2 hrs by local boat) - Kaziranga National Park (96 Kms / 2 Hrs)
Morning visit a Mishing village. Explore the Mishing villages and visit the famous satras (monastery) of Majuli, enroute passing through Mishing tribal houses. Afternoon ferry back to Jorhat and drive to Kaziranga National Park (96 km/ 2 hours), a world heritage site and famous for its one horned rhino.
Day 16: Kaziranga
Today warly morning exciting elephant ride through the Park to appreciate the beauty of famous one horned rhino, wild elephant, Indian bison, swampdeer, samba, hogdeer, etc up close. After breakfast, Jeep safari inside the Central range of the park. Afternoon go on another Jeep safari inside Western range of the National Park to enjoy the wildlife of the park.
Day 17: Kaziranga – Guwahati (230 Kms/ 5 Hrs) – Fly Out
Drive to Guwahati for your flight to Delhi/Calcutta - Onwards
