Itinerary Details
Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
Traditional welcome on arrival in Mumbai, India Travellers office executive will meet you at the airport and will escort you to hotel. Tailor made tour of Mumbai city.
Day 02: Mumbai – Fly to Udaipur
Today morning we transfer to airport in time for flight to Udaipur. Udaipur is a rainbow in desert Rajasthan standing in a valley amid green hills on the banks of the wide, metal blue Lake Pichola. In the afternoon, a scenic cruise on the Lake Pichola including a visit to the Jagmandir Palace.
Day 03: Udaipur
Today morning tour of Udaipur, Explore the vast and exquisite City Palace of the Maharana with its famed crystal gallery. See the Fateh Sagar Lake and visit the Jagdish Temple.
Day 04: Udaipur – Jodhpur (250 Kms / 5 Hrs)
On our drive to Jodhpur, visit Jain temples of Ranakpur, with their intricately carved pillars, these ancient temple are a photographer’s dream. En route India Travellers organises a Village Safari for a first-hand experience of the true rural life of India.
Day 05: Jodhpur
Jodhpur stands on a range of sandstone hills. Explore Mehrangarh Fort and Jodhpur city including Jodhpur’s bustling and colourful clock tower market. Evening you can visit Umaid Bhawan Palace for a drink or dinner.
Day 06: Jodhpur – Pushkar (215 Kms / 4 Hrs)
Today we drive to Pushkar. Visit the sacred Lake, Brahma temple and the colourful bazaar of Pushkar. Enjoy a camel or camel cart ride.. *Alcohol and meat products are not allowed in Pushkar.
Day 07: Pushkar Fair (Nov 2010)
Today India Travellers organises Yoga & Meditation session in the morning . Full day in Pushkar Fair a great visual treat and excellent photography opportunity.
Day 08: Pushkar Fair – Jaipur (140 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Today morning visit to Pushkar Fair. Afternoon we drive to Jaipur.  Evening at leisure, enjoy Bollywood movie at Raj Mandir or sightseeing.
Day 09: Jaipur
Today morning, visit the ancient capital and magnificent fort at Amber, enjoy riding on elephants. Continue with Jaipur city tour, visiting the Royal Observatory and City Palace museum. We will also see the Palace of Winds, the Hawa Mahal, a striking landmark of Jaipur. Later visit colourful bazaars of Jaipur.
Day 10: Jaipur – Agra (240 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Today we drive to Agra visiting en route Fatehpur Sikri, the once fabled and then abandoned Mughal capital and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 11: Agra
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise or sunset. The early morning or evening light is perfect for photography. Also visit the Agra Fort. Akbar’s impressive Red Fort and the intimate tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah are also magnificent.
Day 12: Agra – Orcha (16 Kms from Jhansi) – Khajuraho ( 180 Kms / 4 Hrs)
Today morning train to Jhansi and then drive to Khajuraho visiting en route palaces and temples of Orchha.  In Khajuraho this afternoon, visit the famous Western group of temples designated as the World Heritage Site and is enclosed within a beautifully laid out park.
Day 13: Khajuraho – Fly to Varanasi
Today morning visit the magnificent Southern group of Khajuraho temples. Afternoon we fly to one of the most fascinating cities in India, Varanasi. Later visit Sarnath, one of four holy Buddhist sites and where Buddha delivered his first sermon.
Day 14: Varanasi
Today take an early morning boat ride on the sacred River Ganges. During day visit the Ghats, Temples and Banaras Hindu University. This evening enjoy the spectacular view of Arti on the Ganges.
Day 15: Varanasi – Fly to Delhi/Mumbai
Today morning, we transfer to airport for flight to Delhi or Mumbai to take our international flight.
