Popular Attractions
  • Although it’s best known for its tigers, Bandhavgarh National Park is also home to other wildlife including leopards, black bucks, many species of birds, butterflies and snakes. The terrain here is also one of picturesque, undulating beauty.
  • Bandhavgarh Fort dates back to the 14th century. There are over 30 caves in the region in and around the fort, with many containing inscriptions.  Some caves have pictures of animals. The largest cave (called Badi Gufa) has many rooms and pillars
  • The Pachdar Village, a few kilometers from Pench, is a great place to see potters at their craft
  • There a number of other villages near Pench where one can see the culture and way of life of the Gond tribe
