  • Yumthang valley is known for its hot springs and profusion of pretty flowers, especially rhododendrons of various colors and varieties. The river Teesta flows alongside the road to the valley, making the journey a delightful one
  • Nathu La is a border post between India and China, located at a high altitude. The drive to Nathu La is an enchanting one, with some ethereal scenery on either side of the road. On the way, one passes by Tsomgo Lake, also known as Changu Lake. You can shop near the lake, have some chai to beat the cold weather, taste some yak cheese and pose with the yaks
  • The Tashi viewpoint provides a splendid view of the Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world

  • Sikkim is known for its unique locally produced wines, beers and spirits. While bars in the city stock beer brands like Hit and Dansberg, in the countryside one can savor brands like Roxy.   • Helicopter rides are available from Baghdogra to Gangtok, so you can view the picturesque Sikkim landscape from high up
